Enjoy a 3-day tour to the amazing Bahariya Oasis Campsite in the White Desert, explore the beauty of this unique western desert area and see its famous attractions such as the Temple of Alexander, Crystal Mountain and many more.

Bahariya oasis

Day 01: Cairo – Bahariya Oasis – White Desert

Early morning with our van to Bahariya Oasis, about 5 hours drive, 340 km from Cairo. Bahariya is the closest oasis to Cairo, surrounded by black hills of ferruginous quartzite and dolerite and famous for its mineral and sulphurous 398 springs, some of which have temperatures of up to 45 degrees and are known for their healing properties.

Arrive in Bawiti, the capital of the oasis, with transfer from the hill to the hotel (safari camp). black rocks. You will hike to explore Gabal el Marsos (divided mountain) and then drive to the small Bedouin village of El Hez with an al fresco lunch. On the 160km on/off road journey to the White Desert, you will pass Crystal Mountain and
Agabat el Sharkia, the El Santa tree, roam the sands of the White Desert with its creamy, chalky landscape and wind carved into it mushroom shape

Formations resembling human and animal faces. Tonight you will watch the sun set over the lush desert sands, dine under the stars, and spend the night in camps.

Day 02: White Desert – Bahariya Oasis.

After a good night’s sleep, wake up, have breakfast and head back. all the way through the White Waste.

Back to Bahariya, for our lunch at the hotel, then start an afternoon tour of Bahariya’s main attractions including El Meftella Mountain, Salt Lake, Dest (Pyramid Mountain) and Maghrafa Mountain, stroll to the hot Sources of Bir el Ghaba and el Matar with bathing possibilities. If time permits; Visit the English Mountain at sunset. Here the British troops used the old English outpost as it showed strategic views of the area then back to the hotel.

Day 03: Bahariya Oasis – Cairo

After breakfast we drive back to Cairo with our van and end the program​
