Day 1: Cairo, a modern air-conditioned coach will take you directly from your hotel in Marsa Alam to Cairo.
Upon arrival in Cairo, the tour begins with a visit to the Egyptian Museum, accompanied by an English-speaking Egyptology qualified guide. You will see Egyptian treasures found in the tombs of the pharaohs, Tutankhamun’s golden mask, sarcophagi and more. After that, visit the Great Pyramid of Giza, which is very different from the small pyramids scattered elsewhere. Later we will take you to a viewpoint where you can see all the pyramids from. You will have lunch at a local restaurant followed by a visit to a papyrus factory and check-in at a 4-star hotel on a full-board basis
Day 2: Alexandria, from your hotel in Cairo we will transfer you in our private transfer air-conditioned Vehicle to Alexandria, the second capital of Egypt (the journey takes about 3 hours). You will begin your tour with a visit to the Catacombs of Kom El-Shuqafa, the largest known Roman burial site in Egypt. You will see the Roman amphitheater built in the 2nd century AD. C.
The amphitheater has 13 white and gray marble semicircular stands with marble seats and a capacity for 800 spectators.
The citadel of Qaitbey, which is one of the most important Islamic monuments, will not leave you indifferent. After lunch we will visit the famous Library of Alexandria. In contrast to the ancient architecture found throughout Egypt, the Norwegian designer building is a striking piece. modern design. A copy of every book published worldwide is kept in the library, making it one of the greatest literary sites in the world. At the end of the tour we will transfer you back to your hotel in Cairo.
Day 3: Old Cairo. After breakfast at the hotel, visit the Salah el Din Citadel and the Alabaster Mosque of Mohammed Ali designed by the architect Yousif Boushnaq, a Turk who came from Istanbul to build this magnificent mosque for Mohamed the ruler of Egypt in 1805-1849. After lunch at a restaurant, visit the ancient Coptic churches of Old Cairo. We continue our tour towards Memphis, the oldest capital of Egypt after the unification of Upper and Lower Egypt by King Menes in 3100 BC. c.
Explore the famous site’s beautiful gardens and historic ruins before ending your tour in Saqqara, Egypt’s oldest cemetery and the great necropolis of the ancient capital, Memphis. Visit the world’s first monumental stone building, the Step Pyramid of King Djoser and the magnificent Mastaba Tombs
At the end of the day we will take you back to your hotel in Marsa Alam
